We believe it is vitally important for everyone in the construction supply chain to have an appropriate level of competence, and to ask the awkward questions to ensure valid certification is available and current.
The Building Safety Act makes competence a statutory requirement, and is enforceable by the Health and Safety Executive. Other significant changes to building regulations create clarity regarding the use of any combustible materials and where they can (or more importantly can’t) be used to form part of a building roof or wall.
