Job Summary/Key Responsibilities:
> Maintenance of appropriate HSE policies and procedures
> Oversee all health and safety issues, ensuring that all company procedures are adhered to and communicated to relevant personnel
> Undertake risk assessments and audits
> Provision of RAMS prior to site activity
> Investigate all accidents, incidents, and near-misses, working with site management teams to develop action plans and setting objectives to improve areas of weakness and improve safety
> Liaise with the Health & Safety Executive and Company insurers as required
> Visit construction sites to ensure compliance with Company and Main Contractor policies
> Advise Board on any HSE matters
> Take action to ensure all site employed colleagues and sub-contractors have the relevant training to safely undertake the role for which they are employed
> Accurately maintain training records
> Attendance of Main Contractor HSE site specific meetings
> Deal with Environmental issues
> Completion of regular substance misuse testing on employees and sub-contractors
> Undertake any other reasonable responsibilities appropriate to the post as requested by senior managers
Knowledge, Skills & Experience:
> NEBOSH Construction Certificate or equivalent (desirable)
> IOSH Certificate (desirable)
> Excellent verbal and written communication skills which includes report writing
> Driver’s license and be willing to travel nationally
> Confident in the use of Microsoft packages
> Strong planning and organisational skills with the ability to influence at all levels
Department: Technical Department
Responsible to: Technical Manager
Working as part of an established technical team the successful applicant will be enthusiastic and passionate, possess a hunger to learn & develop new skills and demonstrate clear & confident communication. The ideal candidate will be working towards or have recently achieved a degree level qualification in an appropriate engineering discipline (structural, mechanical, civil etc), and will receive on-the-job coaching & mentoring to progress towards the role of Technical Engineer. Training in the use of software packages such as Autodesk Inventor, AutoCAD, Revit and Tekla TEDDS will also be provided internally.
Under the supervision of the Technical Manager the Junior Technical Engineer will be enrolled upon a strategic Employee Development Plan (EDP), specifically tailored to promote personal competence for future progression within the technical team and/or group of companies.
Key Responsibilities
> The development of long standing relationships with architects, main contractors, and roofing contractors as you assist in the delivery of construction projects from conceptual design, through to tender, installation and completion
> The production of design concepts, supporting sketches and detailed technical drawings for CABP systems & components
> Conduct wind / snow load calculations to current European standards and provide advice & recommendations in line with the requirements of CA Group building envelope systems
> Conduct project specific gravity drainage calculations and thermal analysis (u-value, psi-value & chi-value)
> Use in-house management systems and computer software packages to provide technical support to external customers, specifiers and internal departments
> Generate new and update existing technical documentation such as specification, detail & component drawings, Technical Information Papers (TIPs), installation guides and product renders
> Become proficient and technically competent in all aspects of departmental responsibilities, including;
- The interpretation of technical drawings and specifications
- Engineering drawings, part assemblies and structural calculations using Finite Element Analysis
- Understanding current and developing new methods of construction and manufacturing processes
- Supporting the development of existing and new product lines, including innovation in new markets, materials and supply chain partners
- Knowledge of current and previous Building Regulation requirements (Part L, Approved Document B etc)
> Support the technical team in the installation and testing of systems and components in accordance with project constraints and regulatory requirements
> Any other activities deemed necessary by the Technical Manager
Knowledge, Skills & Experience
> Working towards or recently achieved a relevant engineering degree level qualification (structural, mechanical, civil etc)

Responsible to: Group Financial Controller
Job Summary/Key Responsibilities
> Prepare and review various group company financial reports to given deadlines, inclusive of monthly P&L and Balance Sheet
> Provide commentary and variance analysis as appropriate
> Calculate monthly accruals, prepayments and depreciation
> Maintain accurate fixed asset registers
> Prepare and review various group company annual budgets and quarterly forecasts
> Continually adapt and improve all aspects of reporting, utilising strong IT skills
> Prepare and review various group company year-end statutory accounts, liaising with auditors as required
> Compute and submit VAT returns and various other statistical data to the appropriate authorities
> Support Directors and senior management on an ad hoc basis, to help business decision making, and to ensure that best practice is established and maintained

Job Summary
We are seeking a skilled Press Brake Operator to join our manufacturing team. The ideal candidate will have a strong experience in operating press brake machinery. This role is essential for fabricating high-quality sheet metal components, ensuring precision and adherence to specifications.
Key Responsibilities:
> Operate press brake machinery to bend and shape sheet metal according to engineering drawings and specifications
> Set up tooling and fixtures for various production runs, ensuring optimal performance and accuracy
> Conduct quality checks on finished products, utilising basic maths skills to measure dimensions and ensure compliance with specifications
> Maintain a clean and safe working environment, adhering to all health and safety regulations
> Collaborate with team members to improve processes and resolve any production issues that may arise
Qualifications:
> Proven experience as a Press Brake Operator or in a similar role within a manufacturing environment

Job Summary/Key Responsibilities
> Preparing and agreeing valuations with clients and ensuring payments are received in accordance with subcontract agreements
> Preparing accurate take off of material quantities from drawings
> Follow procedures to ensure proper allocation of job cost
> Pricing of contract variations
> Preparing subcontractor payment certificates, calculation and allocation of subcontractor payments and updating spreadsheets accordingly
> Assist in the control of supply chain ensuring full visibility of liabilities
> Issue of subcontract enquiries, comparison of quotes, undertake negotiations and placing of comprehensive orders
> Contribute to the formulation of monthly financial reports
> Negotiation and agreement of final accounts with main contractor QS
> Cash flow forecasting across all contracts to project company turnover
> Liaising with estimating, design, purchasing and contracts teams to ensure any changes and potential cost overspends are identified as soon as practicable, ensuring costs are recovered and future overspends avoided wherever possible
> Working with the Commercial Manager to provide cost control and reporting on individual contracts, as well as overview and cost management of all contracts for CA Roofing Services division

Key Responsibilities:
> Implementation of procedures as set out in the Site Manager’s Site Safety Pack
> Implement Method Statements and ensure the work is carried out in accordance with Health & Safety Regulations
> Monitoring safety standards on site and action as required
> Co-ordination and distribution of materials from date of shipment through to site installation
> Inspect and check that all deliveries are complete and free from damage, delivery tickets and orders check/sign off are complete
> Producing, maintaining and issue of daily records including obtaining of site instructions and day works accordingly including the recording of delays/hold up’s etc
> Monitor on site progress versus programme and action as required to maintain progress in line with programme period
> Site adopting/creating systems of work and preparation to enable a more efficient utilisation of labour plant and materials
> Organising and controlling of sub-contract labour including dealing with payments and disciplinary matters
> Controlling plant and materials including costs
> Ensuring high standards of workmanship and good housekeeping are achieved at all times
> Ensuring works are completed, de-snagged and handed over as works progress

> Read and interpret technical drawings, schematics and computer-generated reports
> Confer with engineers/contractors and other personnel to implement operating procedures, resolve machine malfunctions and provide technical information
> Investigate equipment failures and difficulties to diagnose faulty operation
> Provide feedback to managers with a degree of accuracy
> Able to recommend design modifications to eliminate machine or system malfunctions
> Establish and co-ordinate the maintenance and safety procedures, service schedule and supply of materials required for maintaining machines and equipment in the prescribed condition
> Collaborate with electrical/mechanical engineers and other personnel to identify, define and solve machine related problems
> Carry out reactive and planned maintenance on all plant, equipment and buildings
> Must have a can do, will do attitude

> Electrically biased with mechanical knowledge as an advantage
