Job Summary/Key Responsibilities
> Provide commercial support on projects
> Preparing and agreeing valuations with clients and ensuring payments are received in accordance with subcontract agreements
> Preparing accurate take off of material quantities from drawings
> Follow procedures to ensure proper allocation of job cost

Responsible for: Assist in establishing processes and policies to ensure that the Company manufacture and install to the highest standards; implementing these processes throughout the Company
Job Summary/Key Responsibilities
> Assist in the development of Company Quality Assurance policies, procedures, and standards and ensure employees are following guidelines for QA procedures
> With the support of the Quality Engineer conduct internal and external audits including construction sites and suppliers
> Support the Quality Engineer with external auditing by BSI, BBA, LPCB, BM Trada, Achilles, etc
> Work with operating staff and the Quality Engineer to establish standards, systems, and procedures
> Identify training needs of operational colleagues
> Recording, analysing, and distributing statistical information using visual management tools & techniques
> Preparing reports for key stakeholders
> Assist in the provision of written reports for both site visits and factory issues
> Raise quality awareness throughout the shop floor / office
> Working with the Quality Engineer to embed quality in our production processes
> Support the Quality Engineer with external management system documentation and FPC audits for product certifications (LPCB, BBA, etc.)
> Support in the production of contract specific inspection and test plans (ITP’s), system inspection documents, site quality plans, etc
> Record on non-conformances (NCRs); cause and effect analysis of issues and concerns
> Support in the evaluation of suppliers / preventative supplier analysis

Responsible for: As an Assistant Quantity Surveyor, you will be a key member of the project team, responsible for managing aspects of the commercial and contractual activities on the assigned sections of the project. Your expertise will play a crucial role in ensuring the project's financial success and delivering it to the highest standards of quality, within budget and on schedule.
Job Summary/Key Responsibilities:
> Preparation and submission of valuations

> To use specialist computer software to produce technical drawings to use for construction

> To become conversant with the specification, estimating and enquiry drawings forming the basis of an order
> To prepare drawing work as required achieving approval, material take-off and installation needs in line with the agreed project programme
> To undertake scheduling and ordering of all materials to suit the agreed project programme
> To attend design and site meetings with Senior Draughtsperson as required
> To prepare a weekly progress report for the Contracting Design Manager
> To participate in training and improvement initiatives
> To assist the Drawing Office Management Team as required

> Preparation of estimates ensuring accuracy when displaying numerical and descriptive information
> Ensure order acknowledgments are checked thoroughly and executed in a timely manner

Responsible for: A Draughtsman is responsible for design co-ordination for own projects, producing layouts, detailed drawings and schedules of materials. As well as carrying out site measurements and surveys when required.
