We are frequently asked if our rooflights are safe to walk on - simply put no one should ever deliberately step onto a rooflight from any manufacturer, unless that rooflight is a designated walk-on structural daylighting product. It might be safe to accidentally step or fall onto a non-fragile rooflight, however doing so may damage the surface or fixings thereby reducing its predicted life and longevity of non-fragility classification. If a person habitually steps onto rooflights the next one they step on might be fragile. CA Group recommendations are clear - never intentionally step onto a rooflight.
